Is the AMG GLE 53 Coupe a hybrid?
It is a mild hybrid. The EQ Boost system adds electric torque to the turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six for performance and efficiency. The car does not plug in.
What is the difference between the GLE 53 and the GLE 63 S Coupe?
The GLE 53 uses a turbocharged inline-six with 429 hp. The GLE 63 S uses a hand-built turbocharged V8 with 603 hp and adds an electronic limited-slip differential, six-piston front brakes and a Race drive mode.
