This policy covers what this site collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are

What we collect
Information you give us in forms on this site: your name, mobile number, email if provided, and details about a vehicle (for example VIN, plate, mileage, the car you're looking for, or the registration service you need). If you apply for financing, the application is completed on a secure form run on our behalf by our dealer management system provider, not stored on this site; it asks for information such as your name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, driver's license, employment and income. We use that information only to submit your application to the lenders you choose, and as described in our financial privacy notice. Photos you choose to send with a sell, trade or consignment request come to us by email and are used only to make you an offer. Like most websites, our host also records basic technical data such as your browser, device and pages visited. Our analytics tools collect information about how you use the site, as described under Analytics below. Cars you save are kept in your own browser and are not sent to us.
How we use it
To answer your request, make an offer on your vehicle, arrange financing, schedule service, registration or shipping, send The List if you joined it, and to contact you by phone, text or email about your request. We do not sell your personal information.
Texts, calls and email
If you submit a form with a phone number, you agree we may call or text that number about your request, including with an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We send marketing texts (new arrivals, services and offers) only if you tick the separate box agreeing to them; it is optional and never a condition of buying anything, and you can stop them at any time by replying STOP. We do not share mobile numbers or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing. Every email from The List has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run the dealership, such as our dealer management system, lenders you ask us to submit an application to, registration and shipping partners, our email service and our website host. We share financial information from your credit application only with the lenders you ask us to send it to and with service providers bound by contract to use it only for that purpose. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share information when the law requires it.
Other companies on this site
Car pages load content from CarGurus (a price rating) and from our window-sticker provider. When your browser loads that content, those companies may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and the page you visited, and may combine it with information they collect when you visit other websites, under their own privacy policies. We do not allow other advertising companies to collect information about your activities on this site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use this site, for example which pages are viewed, how far visitors scroll, what they click, and whether a form was sent, so that we can improve it. These services use cookies or similar technology and collect information such as your IP address, device and browser details, approximate location and the pages you visit. Clarity records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement on our pages; we have set it to hide everything typed into forms, so it does not capture your name, phone number or other details you enter. We have switched off Google's advertising features, and we do not use this information for advertising. Google and Microsoft handle this information under their own privacy policies (Google, Microsoft). You can stop Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Loukas Motorcars does not track you across other websites over time. Google and Microsoft, which provide our analytics, may set cookies as described above. This site does not respond differently to Do Not Track signals.
Your California privacy rights
California residents may request to know, correct or delete the personal information we hold about them, and may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising. To make a request, email sales@loukasmotorcars.com or call (310) 294-8950. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Security
This site is served only over an encrypted connection (https). The credit application is run on our behalf by our dealer management system provider: what you enter is encrypted and sent to them, and it is not stored on this site. At the dealership, only staff who need your information for their work, such as submitting a finance application or registering a vehicle, can see it, and paper records are kept in locked storage. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we work to protect yours.
Links to other sites
This site links to other websites, such as CARFAX reports, lenders, Google and Instagram. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please read the privacy policy of any site that collects your information.
Changes
